Truth is, if you don’t have people against you, chances are you aren’t doing much right.
Starting a production company at such a young age, I saw most things from a different point of view. As we grew and became more successful there were other theater companies and people in general who didn’t want to see us succeed because we do things differently. They came across as bitter and jealous because we were finding the success that they couldn’t. Don’t let yourself fall into bitterness about others success on the stage, cheer them on and soon your success will come. Work with heart and determination; strive for the spotlight.
No matter how good you are at singing, dancing, acting, being the triple threat there will always be those who say you can’t do it and you’re not good enough. I challenge you to prove them wrong. Perform with all your heart and all your might and you will achieve YOUR greatness.
