We’ll it’s a beautiful sunny day here and I was thinking reflecting on how blessed I am to have all the things I have. In particular how blessed I am to live in a place where I have the freedom to be whoever I want to be and do whatever I want to do. And in that reflection a song came to mind… and that song is from the famed musical
… HAMILTON.
How awesome is it that no matter what anyone says we have the freedom to fail and succeed as we please, the freedom to believe what we want to believe, say what we want to say, pursue a performance career, or teaching career, or career in math or science, or be a full time mom or dad, etc. we have the freedom to be a millionaire or live a simple life in the mountains. We have the freedom to have a big family with lots of kids or live a single life where all we do is travel the world. We have the freedom to go to school a learn for the rest of our lives or start our own business right out of high school. We have the freedom to use our imaginations as we please and run with any ideas that pop up!
I was blessed with a family who shares the same passions that I do and parents who believed in what we wanted to achieve no matter how out of reach it seemed. So we’ve worked and worked and worked to get to where we are today and we had the freedom to do so because no matter how many times we were knocked down and continue to be knocked down we have the FREEDOM to get back up and keep trying until we reach success.
Don’t take what we have for granted… we live in the greatest place on earth. FREEDOM IS PRICELESS!!!!
